I just love the opportunity of photographing the Quinceaenra before the the quince date . it's the first time they work with us and allows us to create beautiful portraits to display at the venue. we will give them option to get photographed in the dress or something casual and they can do both. Daniela is such a sweet girl and we got some amazing portraits. I love creating art and creating those signature portraits.

Ruby is a sweet young girl. We decide to do her session at her home to incorporate a cowgirl theme for her session. We don't always get the chance to do two looks for our pre-quince sessions. But, i'm so happy that we got portraits with her Quincenaera dress. These images looked amazing displayed at her reception. The sun was starting to set and we had to take all of her portraits with her dress in the dark. Her parents were so surprised with how beautiful her images turned out.
It was a overcast day with a little rain. I thought it was going to continue to rain, so I made sure to bring an umbrella to the shoot. As I arrived to the location it stopped rainy and the sun came out. The ground was wet, which laying on the ground was out of the question for poses. But, we managed to get some great images for her creative session. I chose to get some nice natural lit images and some flash exposed portraits. I haven't found a specific aesthetic to my work. So I wanted to get a variety to her series of images. This is also great because my clients don't really know what they want and they'll have more styles to choose from. Estefani was really great and she wore beautiful bright pink dress for her Quinceanera.
I had great time photographing Jazzmin Delgadillo's Quinceanera. It was a Masquerade and Zebra inspired theme. So, I decided to photograph her quince with a Modern feel. I loved how her family and friends came together to celebrate her quince. Her mom made all her center pieces and the cake. Very Talented! Here are some images from her quince.
Today, I spent the evening photographing Nayeli. She will be having her Quinceanera in the Fall, 2013. I’m Very excited to be a part of her special day. Here are some pictures from her photo shoot.
It was fire season! I was trying to get some beautiful sunset images, but there was still a lot of smoke in the atmosphere. I was still able to get some great picture of Magedalena Flores. At the end I got a great silhouette picture with sun in the background. My sister assisted me in this shoot by recording some back scene footage. Enjoy! About two year ago I photographed my first Quinceanera ( Nerieda Rodriguez) and now I have had the privilege to photograph her sister Naneli. The Ceremony took place at St. Mary's Catholic church in Boise, ID. and the reception at Boise Hotel and Conference. The theme was modern with peacock feathers and cool color tones. I loved how it was very personable. I'm very honored to document this celebration.
I’m not sure what I am getting myself into. This is my first paid shoot for a Quinceañera and I am little nervous, but very excited at the same time. I got my first DSLR about 5 days ago and I am not sure how to use it to its full capacity. I just need to stay confident about my natural skills as a photographer and get the job done. Wish me luck...
